Using Waygo
Terms of Use
Last updated: October 12, 2026
These terms apply to your use of the Waygo iOS app and this website. By using Waygo, you agree to these terms. “Waygo,” “we,” and “us” refer to the developer of the app.
What Waygo does
Waygo helps you plan trips, keep vehicle and fuel details together, use GPS driving instruments, and review saved drives. Features can depend on your device, permissions, network, Apple services, and settings.
Driving and estimates
Use Waygo before you drive or after you stop. Keep your attention on the road and follow local traffic laws. Do not interact with the app while driving.
Waygo is a companion for planning and recording. It is not a navigation service, and it does not calculate routes or arrival times. Choose a navigation app for directions and review its information separately.
GPS distance, speed, elevation, fuel use, remaining fuel, range, station proximity, daylight, and weather are estimates or service results. They can be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. They do not guarantee fuel availability, road access, safe conditions, or a safe remaining range. Check your vehicle's actual instruments and fuel level, use your judgment, and do not rely on Waygo as a substitute for safe driving or vehicle operation.
Your information and settings
You are responsible for the accuracy of the vehicle details, fuel level, MPG, trip schedule, stops, notes, and receipt amounts you enter. Your settings and iOS permissions control iCloud synchronization, location-based features, route recording, reminders, and Trip Memories. See the Privacy Policy for how these features handle information.
iCloud synchronization is asynchronous and depends on Apple Account, device, network, and service availability. We cannot guarantee that a particular change has synced or can be restored. Keep your own records for anything you cannot afford to lose.
Third-party services
Waygo uses Apple platform services for features such as maps, weather, iCloud, location, Photos access, and notifications. You may also choose to open a destination in another navigation app. Those services are provided under their own terms, and their availability and results are outside Waygo's control.
Acceptable use
Use Waygo lawfully and do not deliberately interfere with the app or attempt to access information that is not yours. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow to be limited.
Ownership
The Waygo name, app, visual design, original text, and website materials are owned by the developer or their respective rights holders and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms let you use Waygo; they do not transfer ownership to you.
Apple's license terms
If you obtain Waygo through Apple's App Store, the app license is also subject to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, unless a separate custom license applies. Apple's services and software are subject to Apple's applicable terms.
Availability and changes
Waygo may change as the app and iOS are updated. Features may be modified, suspended, or discontinued. These terms may also be revised; the current version and revision date will appear on this page.
Disclaimer and limits
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Waygo is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that cannot be excluded by law. To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app. This section does not exclude liability or consumer rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited.
